Post 7.1: Artificial Orchid

This handi craft was to be made by group
so I thought that we won't have a hard time finishing it since there are
four heads who'll be working on it. But it looks like what I thought was a contrary. The day after our teacher informed us about the craft, we were able to finish shaping the wire for the different parts of the orchid immediately.

Everything was going fine,
except the fact that only three heads were on action. The following day, there
was only the two of us at work, it isn't fair. Day by day, the number
of members who were participating lessened. As far as I can remember, the hardest part in making this craft was the pasting part. We had to apply the glue on the
wire patiently and carefully so that it won't mess up. Doing this part would be less
difficult if only there was cooperation. It was really unfair. the two
of us spent almost the whole Saturday just to finish the orchid. Both
of us really felt the pressure 'cause that time, periodical exam
was fast approaching and we still needed to study. It was more
like a paired work than a group. This is the reason why I hate
working by group, I'd rather work alone that to work with a group that
only depends on one person or two.
The both of us get to do and finish the thing and they, who
just sat down and did nothing get the grade. (*sigh*) Well,
this is life, you can't force everybody to help especially if they aren't
concerned about it. This isn't new to me, this always happen and every time it does,
I always tell myself that at least I learn something,
at least I get the learnings, not only the grades. Grades
won't be as useful as learning are in the future. Any way, the orchid making went well. We were able to finish it on time, thank God. Well, though there
was unfairness, I did enjoy. I had fun making the orchid, much more finishing it.
It was nice, the outcome was great and I can say that me and my partner really gave our best. The experience was worth keeping.
